Do our bodies manufacture cellulase?
Cellulase breaks down the fiber in our diet. Because our body does not produce cellulase, this food enzyme is essential. We must eat it on a daily basis. Remember, ONLY RAW FOODS contain cellulase. If the body’s intestinal bacteria (flora) are balanced, this may assist in production of cellulase. The symptoms of cellulase deficiency can best be described as malabsorption syndrome (impaired absorption of nutrients, vitamins, or minerals from the diet by the lining of the small intestine). Malabsorption has many symptoms including lower abdominal gas, pain, bloating and problems associated with the jejunum and pancreas.

Modulate pH
One of the best weapons that Theramedix has in it’s product mix is pHB. At Theramedix we know that when it comes to the digestive system it is very important to keep your pH in balance.
In recent months we have discovered that many of our practitioners have understood pHB to be an alkalizing product. That is a correct view of pHB but an incomplete picture of the product.
pHB is unique in that it is one of the only products on the market intended to modulate pH. The formula has a pH of 7.0.
