Why Fillers Matter

At Theramedix we have chosen to make all our products filler free. The most common filler used in the manufacturing process today is magnesium stearate. Magnesium stearate looks like a benign ingredient, however, it has negative implications to its use.
Fillers are used to help a formula flow into it’s capsule in the manufacturing process. Using a flow agent lowers costs in manufacturing by increasing the efficiency in which a product can be incapsulated through less loss of raw material and speed of encapsulation.
The problem with magnesium stearate is that it creates a film or coating on the enzymes which make it heavier. The coating process is very similar to placing a knife in its sheath. The knife has been blunted by the sheath and the enzyme has been blunted by the flow agent.
Even though the process of manufacturing an enzyme formula without fillers costs us more, we believe that we can not compromise due to the therapeutic nature of our products.
The next time you look at a enzyme formula, look for fillers. If you find them you may want to consider switching to a Theramedix product.
Because we will not compromise our products we have the most powerful enzyme supplements on the market.
