Working With Candida

This condition involves the overgrowth of the fungus, candida albicans, which normally exists at ecological equilibrium in the testiness, genital tract, throat and mouth. Under certain conditions, this fungus proliferates, weakening the immune system, causing infections and a wide host of symptoms including but not limited to vaginitis, heightened environmental sensitivities, GI disturbances, muscle and joint pain, acne, depression, congestion, hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiencies. Antibiotic usage, impaired immunity, nutrient and digestive deficiencies, altered bowel flora and impaired liver function can all contribute to candida overgrowth. Recommendations include identifying the predisposing factors, following a candida control diet, supporting the digestive and immune systems and promoting an effective detoxification and elimination program.

Food Allergies

It is estimated that nearly 60% of the American Population, including 25% of young children, suffer from food allergies. Symptoms of food allergies can affect every part of the body, producing uncomfortable symptoms to severe illnesses. Diseases and symptoms commonly associated with food allergies can include indigestion, canker sores, celiac disease, diarrhea, IBS, ear infections, bed-wetting, hyperactivity, asthma, acne, eczema, edema, migraines & fatigue. Most physicians agree that the simplest and most effective approach to treating food allergies is through avoidance of allergenic foods. Many experts also advocate rotation diets to identify specific food allergens. Because food allergies can compromise the integrity of the digestive system and exhaust the immune system, support of these two major systems is essential, as is the soothing of the mucosal linings and the removal of toxins. (Also see Hay Fever).

Suggestions:

1 DGX with every meal
1-2 PRX 3x per day between meals
2 AMS as needed

DGX is the best digestive enzyme for you

Recently I have been traveling quite a bit. Washington, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Canada, and the list goes on. I never leave home with out my DGX. When I travel I eat a variety of foods presented to me. Needless to say, my stomach always hurts when I travel from the atypical diet I end up eating. DGX is made up of over 20 enzymes that can digest any meal. Vegan in nature, the various proteases, lipases, cellulases, and carbohydrases can digest nuts, beans, dairy, fiber, sugar, protein, and the list goes on. I travel in comfort knowing that a little DGX goes a long way in making my body an efficeint digestion machine. Whether you love Starbucks, raw foods, or Ruth's Chris, DGX will be your best defence against feeling worn out and bloated after eating.

The Best Super Food

Theramedix is proud to announce a new product that is near and dear to our hearts. For the past year we have been carefully preparing a comprehensive green formula with enzymes and probiotics.
Thera Greens has a total of 22 active enzymes. Some of the enzymes in Thera Greens are very recognizable, while others are completely new to our company. Some of the more exotic enzymes we have included are: Aminotransferase, Catalase, Cytochrome Oxidase,
DNase, Fatty Acid Oxidase, Hexokinase, Malic dehydrogenas, Nitrate reductase, Peroxidase, Phosphatase, Phospholipase, Polyphenoloxidase, RNase, Superoxide Dismutase, and Transhydrogenase.
Theramedix is very proud to give you one of the most comprehensive and enzyme rich green formulas on the market today. The question to ask when selecting a green product is whether or not it has active enzymes and probiotics. Be assured that Thera Greens does.

Why Fillers Matter

At Theramedix we have chosen to make all our products filler free. The most common filler used in the manufacturing process today is magnesium stearate. Magnesium stearate looks like a benign ingredient, however, it has negative implications to its use.
Fillers are used to help a formula flow into it’s capsule in the manufacturing process. Using a flow agent lowers costs in manufacturing by increasing the efficiency in which a product can be incapsulated through less loss of raw material and speed of encapsulation.
The problem with magnesium stearate is that it creates a film or coating on the enzymes which make it heavier. The coating process is very similar to placing a knife in its sheath. The knife has been blunted by the sheath and the enzyme has been blunted by the flow agent.
Even though the process of manufacturing an enzyme formula without fillers costs us more, we believe that we can not compromise due to the therapeutic nature of our products.
The next time you look at a enzyme formula, look for fillers. If you find them you may want to consider switching to a Theramedix product.
Because we will not compromise our products we have the most powerful enzyme supplements on the market.

Help me cellulase

Do our bodies manufacture cellulase?

Cellulase breaks down the fiber in our diet. Because our body does not produce cellulase, this food enzyme is essential. We must eat it on a daily basis. Remember, ONLY RAW FOODS contain cellulase. If the body’s intestinal bacteria (flora) are balanced, this may assist in production of cellulase. The symptoms of cellulase deficiency can best be described as malabsorption syndrome (impaired absorption of nutrients, vitamins, or minerals from the diet by the lining of the small intestine). Malabsorption has many symptoms including lower abdominal gas, pain, bloating and problems associated with the jejunum and pancreas.
AMS: Aids in the proper digestion of carbohydrates and in overcoming symptoms of allergies.

DGX: A broad-spectrum digestive aid. Formulated to assist in digesting proteins, fats, carbohydrates and fiber.

CDX: Formulated to manage yeast overgrowth.

Why you should take a digestive enzyme

Theramedix was founded on the idea that plant based enzymes are not only beneficial to health and longevity, but also therapeutic in nature.

Every seven years the human body produces 13% less digestive enzymes. Our body needs the enzymes found in uncooked fruits and vegetables to aid in the digestive process.

Most human beings are now consuming more processed, refined, and irradiated foods than nature had ever intended us to eat. We are not getting the enzymes naturally found in raw foods.

Supplementing a healthy diet with plant based digestive enzymes can have many quick and long term positive effects on the body. Most patients report more energy from taking digestive enzymes. Other benefit include clarity of thinking, and less bloating and discomfort.

Digestive enzymes works quickly and from the first pill. Your patients will thank you for giving them a product that produces such a profound and rapid effect.

DGX is our best selling product. Try it in your practice to help your patients change the way they feel after they eat.

Modulate pH

One of the best weapons that Theramedix has in it’s product mix is pHB. At Theramedix we know that when it comes to the digestive system it is very important to keep your pH in balance.

In recent months we have discovered that many of our practitioners have understood pHB to be an alkalizing product. That is a correct view of pHB but an incomplete picture of the product.

pHB is unique in that it is one of the only products on the market intended to modulate pH. The formula has a pH of 7.0. Because the capsule is enteric coated, the idea is that the 7.0 pH product will reach the intestinal tract where it would begin a chain reaction to bring the intestines back to a healthy pH. Whether an individual is acidic or alkaline, the product will help restore balance to the intestines. pHB taken along with PBC could begin a healing and restorative process to the intestines.
pHB comes with pH test strips inside the bottle. Try them with your patients today.

pHB is indicated for:
Weight gain/Difficulty loosing weight, Acid reflux, Mineral deficiency, Acidosis, Brain fog, Heavy meat eating, Overly acidic conditions in the body

The Power of Protease

“All viruses are alike in that they have protein coats containing nucleic acid...Enzymes fight viruses by breaking up this protein” (Anthony J Cichoke, D.C.)
Protease is a classification of a group of enzymes which act on protein molecules and assist in catalyzing reactions. These reactions, in effect help to change the molecular structure, or break down the protein molecules. Based on clinical studies, it is known that proteases are able to dissolve almost all proteins as long as they are not components of living cells. Normal living cells are protected against lysis by the inhibitor mechanism. Viruses, parasites, fungal forms, and bacteria are either protein or protected by protein. The introduction of oral proteases presents the ability of those enzymes to act upon the protein coating of viruses or any protein that is harmful to the body or does not belong. Enzymes can also break down undigested food protein, cellular debris, and toxins in the blood, sparing the immune system this task. The immune system can then concentrate its full action on the bacterial or parasitic invasion. It should be noted that protease when taken on an empty stomach are readily taken up into the mucosa cells of the intestine and passed into the blood circulation. Clinical observations have noted that upon high intake of oral protease, heavy metal concentrations have been significantly decreased in the blood. While in the blood, proteases are taken up byalpha II-macroglobulin which ensures its survival in the body. This same alpha II macroglobulin escorts the protease throughout the body and appears to have the same ability that white blood cells have for determining what does not belong. Once identified the Alpha II macroglobulin exposes the protease to the protein invader and digestion of that protein begins.
